I currently work for TNO Science and Industry business unit Materials Technology. I worked at TNO Built Environment and Geosciences in the field of Marine Structures. My previous employer was LG-Philipsdisplays and before that I also worked at TNO, but in that case at the Automotive department in the field of crash-safety. My education consists of a PhD study at Eindhoven University of Technology in the field of biomechanics. At this university I also completed my Masters in the field of engineering mechanics. Before that I went to St. Willibrord gymnasium in Deurne. They have an alumni society called: Vrienden van het Willibrord. In my own time I am lot involved in music, both in listening and in making. The french-horn is my instument. Naturally, I am a member of Nederlands Hoornistengenootschap (Dutch Horn Society). I played for 20 years with Helmonds Muziek Corps and with Zuidhollandskamerorkest (Zuidholland Chamber Orchestra). Nowadays, I act as substitute for several orchestras. Furhermore, we run a wind-ensemble with some friends. |
